Summer Art Workshops 2017

Hone your child’s creativity and help them channel their inner artist through Young Artists’ Studio’s (YAS’) summer workshops. There is a class to suit every interest, whether it’s drawing, painting, art for beginners, or even comics and fashion illustration. Teens and grownups can join, too! All classes will be held at Yuchengco Museum.

About Young Artists’ Studio

Young Artists’ Studio (YAS) is an art school that offers art classes in different cities in Metro Manila all year round. Since 2009, YAS has taught over 1,500 aspiring artists from different age groups, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults.


ART FOR BEGINNERS

ART FOR BEGINNERS

Kids ages 4 – 8

This program is intended to encourage interest in the arts among young children. It is composed of a hodgepodge of art activities in painting, drawing, printmaking, mosaic-making, and sculpture. It introduces basic techniques, develops hand skills, encourage creative exploration.

DRAWING

Kids, teens, and adults age 7 & up
PHP 8,800 

Designed for students interested in developing technical skills in realistic drawing, this workshop concentrates on principles of proportion, perspective, shading, and composition. This workshop explores different genres, such as landscape, still-life, and portraiture.

Kids, teens, and adults age 7 & up
PHP 9,800 

A fun set of art activities exposing aspiring artists to basic techniques and styles of painting (watercolor, gouache, acrylic, and oil). This workshop explores different genres, such as landscape, still-life, and portraiture.

COMICS ILLUSTRATION

COMICS ILLUSTRATION

Kids and teens age 7 & up
PHP 8,800 

Ideal for aspiring comic artists interested in exploring different styles of illustration, this program combines lessons in drawing and coloring, character building, and storytelling. A mini comic book will be the main project.
