RCBC Savings Bank (RSB) recently held its first SME Forum in Pampanga, featuring industry experts, to promote SMEs as major contributors to economic growth.

The forum entitled, GrowSME, is the first of the series of forums set to be rolled out, nationwide, this 2018. It is also one of the new flagship programs of RCBC Savings Bank that aim to mentor the nation’s leaders and entrepreneurs in order to promote the SME industry.

The forum featured industry experts who shared the current economic and business trends, as well as best practices. RCBC’s Head of Economics and Industry Reseach Division, Michael Ricafort provided a briefing on the impact of the recently implemented TRAIN law. Renowned motivational speaker and entrepreneur, Jayson Lo, provided insights on business management and leadership skills.

RSB’s SME Lending Division Head Elmer Aquino, Cash Management Services Product Manager Hector Sison and Product Sales and Support Division Head Guilberto Benedicto tackled the right financial tools to help the business run more efficiently such as the Quick Business loan facility, cash management services that include payroll facility and check writing services. The event also served as a launch for the premier club called the Hexagon Club, which offers premium and rewarding banking experience to its members.

Through the partnership with Pampanga Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. (PamCham), over 100 entrepreneurs from various industries such as hospitality, food, trading and manufacturing, attended the event.
