The inauguration was well attended by RCBC officers, present to cut the ribbon were (L-R) RCBC Head of Retail Banking Jonathan C. Diokno, RCBC Chairperson Helen Y. Dee, RCBC CEO & President Gil A. Buenaventura, and RCBC Business Relationship Manager Sandra S. Lim.

RCBC’s first ever branch, which stood the test of time and proudly served loyal RCBC customers for over half a century, moved to a new site in the newly renovated Enrique T. Yuchengco (ETY) Building.

During the earlier days of the YGC, the ETY Building was built as an office for Malayan Insurance, through the years the building was used to house other member companies of the growing conglomerate. The transfer to a new location serves as a sign of progress for the Binondo branch, allowing it to better serve its growing clientele. At present, RCBC currently has 306 branches nationwide, 150 of which can be found across Metro Manila.
