Mapúa University bagged the bronze award for Best International Website of the 13th QS Asia Pacific Professional Leaders in Education (APPLE) Creative Awards. The award was given during the QS-APPLE Conference and Exhibition held in Taichung, Taiwan, last November 24.
The QS APPLE Creative Awards recognize the importance of creative and compelling designs in effective communication and brand building.
“The award reflects Mapúa University’s capability of original conception and technical execution of online marketing material as well as its seriousness of purpose in its internationalization efforts. This competition within QS has indeed kept us on our toes,” said Dr. Reynaldo B. Vea, president and chief executive officer of Mapúa.
According to Dean for Admissions and International Programs Engr. Rosette Eira E. Camus, the recognition brings great honor to the University.
“It only proves that we are collective in our efforts to bring forth services at par with international standards and that we are united in our quest to be among the best universities in the world,” Engr. Camus said.
The bronze award is a confirmation that the University is making a mark in the international domain and further boosts Mapúa’s international presence and reputation.
The Best International Website Page category has four criteria namely: design, functionality, interactivity, and content. Other categories include Best International Print Advertisement, Most Creative Corporate Institution Video, Best International Student Recruitment Brochure, and Best Exhibition Booth Design.
Aside from the Best International Website Page, Mapúa University was also nominated for Best International Student Recruitment Brochure.
